"I can be like Flintstone and make your Bed-rock"

I had a whole blog entry ready in my head about how Birmingham radio sucks, (hence this lyric from some song I heard on 103.7 tonight) and then two things happened.

1) Jordan thinks he broke his hand,

and

2) The ipad came into the world.

Let's elaborate on the first. You know you play too much golden tee when the game gives you a hairline fracture in your hand. Ridiculous, I have no sympathy. He loses.

Onto the more interesting second topic. I do not have any apple products. Mostly because Verizon is much better than AT&T, and my blackberry was like $20. However, I might now have a small obsession with a $600 object.

It doesnt have a USB port or a camera, but that's ok, because it has almost everything else. How cool would I look at Starbucks with my chai tea latte and an ipad? Answer: very cool. Its almost 100% factual that I will never actually own one of these. If I ever did, there would prob be a much cooler and more expensive version to come out the very next day.

Until then, I still have a husband with a broken hand, and spirit.
